Open-cell foams are a softer more flexible material because cells are created open. One of the biggest benefits of open-cell foam is that it expands significantly after it has been applied. It is, therefore, an ideal material to reach into all the nooks and crannies and to ensure an effective air seal – a key to energy efficient homes. This air sealing process is also an important contributor to the soundproofing benefits delivered by open-cell foam. The proprietary formula of XLS 500 ensures adhesion to both the substrate and to itself guaranteeing an effective seal. XLS 500 is an ideal insulation for many building types.

Using the most innovative raw materials balanced with caring for the environment, XLS 500 has been specially formulated for high performance and high yield; using water as its sole blowing agent.
