XLS 2000 is an HFO 2lb. closed-cell, medium-density insulation that can be used for both exterior and interior applications. XLS 2000 is certified for both commercial and residential uses.
XLS 500 is a 1/2lb. open-cell, light-density insulation that is best suited for interior applications.
Both products carry a full range of certifications giving you lifetime confidence in design and installation.
All XCELUS blowing agents respect the environment. Only low or 0 GWP products are in the portfolio.
The Global Warming Potential (GWP) measurement takes into consideration the ability of each greenhouse gas to trap heat in the atmosphere compared to carbon dioxide (CO2). The higher the GWP number, the greater the amount of greenhouse gas released into the atmosphere. The major threat from increased GWP gases is called the ‘greenhouse effect’. Xcelus XLS 500
XLS 500 is an open-cell foam that uses water as its sole blowing agent. Open-cell foams are a softer more flexible material because cells are created open. One of the biggest benefits of open cell foam is that it expands significantly after it has been applied.
